General schedule

The scientific program is scheduled to start on Thursday, 27 May 2010, 08:30 h and will end on Saturday, 29 May 2010, after lunch. Arrival is planned for Wednesday (26-MAY-2010) afternoon/evening. Departure will be on Saturday (29-MAY-2010) after lunch or on Sunday morning, after breakfast.

The registration will be possible with Mrs. Jutta Lang (WE-Heraeus Foundation) on Wednesday from 17:00 h to 21:00 h and on Thursday morning in the reception lounge of the Physikzentrum.

On Wednesday evening from 18:30 h an informal get together will take place, at the same time a buffet supper will be provided. On Thursday the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation invites all participants to a welcome dinner and a social evening. Poster sessions will be scheduled on Thursday and Friday afternoon.

Information for oral presentations

The seminar will take place in the Wilhelm und Else Heraeus Lecture Hall. For your talk presentation you can use: power point, pdf or similar on 1) USB memory stick, 2) CD, or 3) your own notebook / transparencies (landscape format is preferable). The data projector resolution is 1400 x 1050. A stationary PC for your CDs or USB devices is available (Windows XP, MS Office 2003, Adobe Acrobat 6.0).

Information for poster contributions

Posters may be displayed during the whole seminar and will be discussed in the poster sessions on Thursday and Friday afternoon. As introduction, oral presentations of the posters (1 minute each) are planned at the beginning of the poster sessions in the lecture room. The maximum poster size is 120 cm width x 150 cm height. The Wilhelm und Else Heraeus-Stiftung will award three best poster prizes to the amount of 50 Euro each.
